Where: Cass County Fairgrounds, Cassopolis, MI
Weigh In for Swine: Friday 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and
Saturday 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Weigh In for Goats: Saturday Noon until 1:00 p.m.
Swine Show Begins at 11:00 a.m. with Goats to follow.
Grand Champion Swine Overall - $250.00
Reserve Champion Swine Overall - $150.00
Grand Champion Goat Overall - $150.00
Reserve Champion Goat Overall - $75.00
Barrows and Gilts will be shown together / Does and Whethers shown together
Cost - $20.00 per head, stall fee $5.00 per stall
After April 25, 2015 $30.00 for registration
Showmanship $5.00 – per individual
Registrations will be accepted the day of the show
Food Concessions will be available on the grounds

County Pride Prospect Swine & Goat Show Rules
1. Open to all youth 6-21 years old as of 01/01/15 Entry Fee: $20.00 per animal. ($30.00 if registered after 04/25/15)
NO REFUNDS.
2. Showmanship classes will be available in five age groups: Peewee (6-8), Beginners (9-12), Junior (13-15),
Intermediate (16-18), and Senior (19-21). Showmanship Entry Fee: $5.00 per individual.
3. Pens will be provided for all animals. $5.00 per stall is required. The exhibitor is responsible to supply their own
bedding, but they are not responsible for cleaning up after show.
4. Guaranteed prize money of: $250.00 for Grand Champion Hog Overall and $150.00 for Reserve Champion Hog
Overall. Then to Grand Champion Goat Overall $150.00 and $75.00 Reserve Champion Goat Overall.
5. The total number of animals entered will determine the number of classes and class sizes.
6. Classes will be determined by the individual animal weight and the total number of animals. Barrows and gilts will
be shown together / Does and Whethers shown together.
7. All animals will be weighed by a County Pride Show representative immediately after unloading. That weight is
final, no reweighing will be allowed. Weigh-in times for swine: Friday 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm / Saturday 7: 00 am to
10:00 am. Weigh-in times for goats: Saturday noon until 1:00 p.m.
8. All judge and committee decisions are final.
9. Camping will be available on site for $25.00 a night. (includes water and electric)
