A WORKSHOP ON DIVERTING FOOD WASTE & RECYCLABLES FROM OUR LANDFILL Join the Erie County Recycling Program, Environment Erie, 2015 and Millcreek Township for this MAY 27 6PM-8PM informational workshop on the TOM RIDGE ENVIRONMENTAL CENTER philosophy of zero waste and proper JUNE 17 6PM-8PM procedures for diverting food waste, PLEASANT RIDGE PARK, FAIRVIEW recyclables, and electronics from the waste stream with an emphasis AUG 8 9AM-12PM SUMMIT TOWNSHIP BUILDING on composting. Attendees will learn how to build and maintain a successful compost pile from everyday organic waste material as well as discover opportunities made available through local $10 fee per household due at registration For more information and locations visit www.environmenterie.org or call 814-440-3953 composting and recycling centers. Upon completion of the workshop, each participating household will receive a FREE Compost Wizard Jr. bin and composting handouts. This workshop is open to all Erie County residents. Past participants may attend the workshop a second time, but are not eligible to receive additional compost bins.
