Staff Bios













Jet Roberts started calling in 1971 at the young age of eight years old.
By age 19 he was established as a full time caller on the west coast.
To date Jet has been featured in all the western states & has traveled as far east as New York & into the New
England states.
Since 1993 Jet has been featured in other countries such as Sweden, Denmark, Holland, United Kingdom,
Germany, Finland, and New Zealand & spent two years calling full time in Perth, Australia.
Jet calls levels from basic through A-2 & from the age of 10 he has never missed a year of teaching a beginner’s
class & sometimes as many as three in a season.
During the national convention in Detroit, MI. in 2011 Jet became the newest staff caller on Rhythm Records
which is considered one of the top record labels of all time with an all-star staff.
In the summer of 2004 Jet married Sylvia Bjork from Sweden. They had a beautiful wedding in her hometown of
Orebro, Sweden with many friends from Europe & the USA in attendance. Jet & Sylvia are currently living in
Antelope, California near Sacramento. Jet is the proud father of two girls, Lacey born in 1988 & Lindsey in 1991
from a previous marriage. On February 22, 2009 Sylvia gave birth to their daughter Stella.
Pat Carnathan
Pat began square dancing in 1977 with his parents. In June of 1980 the club he danced with had an Amateur
Callers' Night and though he was scared to death he was clearly hooked. His first professional dance came in
September of 1981 and he picked up a regular gig in January of 1982. He now calls worldwide from Mainstream
through A2.
A pianist since age six, Pat arranges all of Shakedown Records' music and performs most of the music heard on the
records. Pat calls over 200 dances a year, including National conventions and festivals. Pat and his wife, Monica,
started dating nearly thirty years ago, but, like many young people, split up and went their separate ways. They got
back together in 2004 and were married in their backyard August 2nd, 2008. Pat enjoys using music from various
genres for his patters. You’ll hear techno, contemporary jazz and a number of other styles!













Club caller for the Capitol Squares (A2) in Richmond, VA and The Square Edges (Plus) in Newport News, VA
Jeremy is a square dance recording artist on Crown Records.
His first release on Crown, “Bed of Roses”, was the number one best seller for the month.
Learned to square dance in 1994 (Plus) and learned Advanced in 1996.
Has been calling and teaching Basic Mainstream Plus and Advanced on a weekly basis since 2000.
Jeremy is also a member of CALLERLAB and works on the Advanced Committee.
Tim Eum and Cindy Hadley
Cueing and teaching all round dance phases (I thru VI) and rhythms.
Tim started dancing in 1973 in California and teaching in 1976 in Germany.
Tim & Cindy are currently the Chairman of the Dixie Round Dance Council (DRDC) and the
Presidents of the Alabama Round Dance Teacher's Association (ARDTA). Tim is the Roundalab
phase 5 ROQ chairman and also serves on the ICBDA Technical Advisory Committee.
Tim served on the Roundalab Board of Directors from 2000 thru 2006.
Tim has taught and cued at every National Square Dance Convention since 1998. Tim & Cindy were
the Round Dance Program Directors for the 2014 Nationals in Little Rock AR and will be the Vice
Chairman for Rounds for the 2019 Nationals in Atlanta, GA.
Tim has cued and taught worldwide (Australia, Germany, Canada, Japan) as well as all over the
United States (at least 20 states to include at least 8 different state conventions).
Tim and Cindy currently call Huntsville, Alabama home. Tim works as a Telecommunications
Manager and Cindy is a high school teacher.
