Thanks are extended to Mason Chaidez, Iman Ahmer, Faith Brown, The Puckett Family,
Meredith Parker, Lake and Noah Ramey, and Elizabeth Pellicciotti for their donation to
our AR Library.
The AC will not be up and running by the end of this school year as we had hoped.
However, it will be nice and cool for registration in August. It has taken a little longer to
get this project underway because we decided to install, both, heat and air and make some
cosmetic improvements at the same time. It is, also, hard to work around all the activities
that take place in the gym. Thank you for helping to make this possible with the support
you gave to Taste of “T” Street. Your help raising money, volunteering your time and
services, or simply attending the festival and enjoying a day of fun is what made it all
happen. Thank you
As for Box Tops money… That check went straight to the art room to help with the
Young Arkansas Artists Contest.
Our students and teachers are working very hard to prepare for our End of the Year
Program, “#missselmasthebestschoolever”. Because of the high cost for auditorium
rental, costumes, etc., we must assess each student $30.00 to help defray these expenses.
This charge will appear on your May statement.
Please check the lost and found. The blue benches in the red building are overflowing
with unclaimed items.
There will be no AR requirements this summer. However, we do encourage summer
reading and hope you will do the same. If your child would like to check out a book from
our AR room during the summer months, please call the office so we can make
arrangements for you. .
Popeye Video will record the program and the graduation ceremony. The cost is $30.00.
Graduation discs will cost $18.00. Order forms will be sent home before the program.
Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Hamilton will hold their Summer Math Camp the week of
July 27-31. This is for students entering 2nd through 6th grades. Registration forms will
be sent home at a later date.
We will also offer summer tutoring beginning in June. If summer tutoring is mandatory
as a condition for promotion, a note will be sent home before school dismisses. If you
would like your child to participate in summer tutoring for reinforcement and academic
advancement, call the office for a tutoring registration form.
We ask that parents check the length of your child’s shorts and skirts. The children know
the proper length and know how to measure. Girls are not allowed to wear Capri pants.
If sandals are worn, socks must, also, be worn. All shoes must have a strap on the ankle.
WE WOULD LIKE TO EXTEND A BIG THANK YOU TO RITA WOODWARD
FOR HER HARD WORK ON ANOTHER OUTSTANDING YEARBOOK AND
BECKY COOPER WHO TOOK PICTURES OF EVERYTHING! WE EXPECT
DELIVERY ANY DAY. IF YOUR CHILD DID NOT PURCHASE A YEARBOOK
AND YOU WOULD LIKE ONE, CALL THE OFFICE. WE ORDERED A FEW
EXTRAS.
Please pay all May tuition fees and any outstanding balances by May 15. REPORT
CARDS WILL NOT BE MAILED TO STUDENTS WHO HAVE NOT PAID ALL
TUITION FEES AND DAMAGED BOOK FEES. NO RECORDS WILL BE SENT
TO NEW SCHOOLS IF ACCOUNTS HAVE NOT BEEN PAID IN FULL. Please
contact the school office if you have a problem. Your June statement will include any
childcare or lunches ordered in May.
We have had a very successful year, and we wish all of you a happy summer.
