What’s New in MITS Discover 10
Self-service customization is the theme of MITS Discover 10, the latest release of our analytical
reporting tool. From a completely revamped, user-friendly dashboard editing tool to a new interface
for customizing report columns, MITS Discover 10 offers a host of features that make it even easier for
executives and non-technical users to customize dashboards, scorecards, and reports to meet their
needs.
Point & Click Dashboard Editor
Even the most non-technical user can now create new and customize existing dashboards (full screen
and sidebar) and scorecards using the new point and click editor.
View the data values that matter to you by changing metrics or time periods—for example, replacing
“commission cost” with “standard cost” or “quarter over quarter trend” with “year over year trend”—on
an existing dashboard object.
Save time creating new dashboards and scorecards by copying objects, leveraging existing reports
and interactive charts, and moving objects and changing data values visually and on-the-fly.
Control dashboards and scorecard layouts by moving objects around, changing the size and scale
of an object, and adding and removing objects with a click.
Display the best visualization for your data, such as stop lights to measure KPIs, line charts to
determine trends, pie charts for clear comparisons.

New Column Selector
Use the new column selector features to quickly and easily find and add columns to a new or existing
report. Explore the list of available columns right from the report screen using the search box or
expanding the new column categories.
Usage Statistics – Beta Program
Interested in understanding how your staff uses MITS? MITS Discover 10 includes a beta version of our
usage statistics program for capturing usernames, login attempts, reports or dashboards launched,
scheduled build jobs, and more. Rest assured that no financial information will be collected. Participation
in this program is on an opt-in basis.
