Application Form
MPETA has set aside funds to assist teachers in attending the 2015 Moving It Forward Summit:
 Funding available to cover substitute fees for teachers to attend the conference
 Funding will be dispersed to 25 current MPETA members from Winnipeg schools inside the Perimeter
Highway and 25 current MPETA members from schools outside the Perimeter Highway.
 must be full MPETA member to apply (students must have student membership)
 first come first serve basis
 Deadline to apply is September 30th, 2015
Obligations of the applicant
1. The applicant must have a FULL membership in good standing for two consecutive years prior to the
application. First year teachers are exempt from this clause.
2. Invoices must be submitted by November 6th, 2015.
3. The application must be made prior to the event. Funding requests made after the event will not be
considered.
4. The applicant must provide an article describing the conference, workshop or session for publication in
the MPETA Journal. Include some practical games, new ideas and/or different activities to share with your
colleagues. Be sure to include the details to allow others to replicate the game, idea and/or activity! This
