A. SPECIFIC CONDITIONS
Necessary prior permission from the central ground water
authority shall be obtained for working for the mine below
water table based on detailed hydrological study so as to
ensure that the water table is not adversely affected due to
the project.

closures and final approval of the project by the
concerned authorities and the date of start of land
development work.

shall monitor compliance of the stipulated conditions. The
project authorities should extend full cooperation to the
officer (s) of the Regional Office by furnishing the requisite
data/information / monitoring reports.
The project proponent shall submit six monthly reports on
the status of compliance of the stipulated environmental
clearance conditions including results of monitored
data(both hard copies as well as by e-mail)to the Ministry
of Environment and Forests its Regional Office Bangalore,
the respective Zonal Office of Central Pollution control
Board and State Pollution Control Board. The proponent
shall upload the status of compliance of the
environmental clearance conditions, including results of
monitored data on their website and shall update the
same periodically. It shall simultaneously be sent to the
Regional Office of the Ministry of Environment and Forests
Bangalore, the respective Zonal Officer of Central Pollution
Control Board and the State Pollution Control Board.
The Mining Plan was approved by IBM authorities vide letter
no: MP/AP/KNL/LST-198-SZ, Dt: 13-01-2011.

A copy of clearance letter shall be sent by the proponent
to concerned panchayat, ZillaParisad / Municipal
Corporation, Urban Local Body and the Local NGO, if any,
from whom suggestions /representations, if any, were
received while processing the proposal. The clearance
letter shall also be put on the website of the company by
the proponent.
The State Pollution Control Board should display a copy of
the clearance letter at the Regional office, District Industry
Centre and the Collector’s office/Tahsildar’s Office for 30
days.
The project authorities should advertise at least two local
newspapers widely circulated, one of which shall be in the
vernacular language of the locality concerned, within 7
days of the issue of the clearance letter informing that the
project has been accorded environmental clearance and a
copy of the clearance letter is available with State
Pollution Control Board and also at web site of the
Ministry
of
Environment
and
Forests
at
http://envfor.nic.in and a copy of the same should be
forwarded to the Regional Office of this Ministry located
at Bangalore.
