Cooking for a Crowd-Summer Brunch
Activity Center, Inc. P.O. Box 302 Spring House, PA 19477 www.mypalooza.org COOKING FOR A CROWD SERIES KITCHENSHOP 1 ~ SUMMER BRUNCH for 8 You will learn how to prepare an EASY brunch for your friends. Enjoy cooking and baking as you practice time management when preparing an entire meal. You will work on cooking techniques, including proper use of the oven, stovetop, and tools; explore the uses of a variety of IN-SEASON ingredients; and build on basic techniques like measuring and mixing ingredients. Good nutrition and safety are stressed with each recipe. Once the cooking is complete, you will sit at the table to share the meal and enjoy some social time. A recipe binder of adapted recipes will be compiled for you to be used at home independently or with support. At the end of this workshop, you will leave with samples to take home and share.
