Our water coils come with various tube, fin and material options. As warm air passes across the coil and contacts the cold surface, heat transfers from the water flowing through the tubes to the air entering the coil. Entering chilled water temperatures range from 40 – 55 degrees depending on the specifications. Chilled water coils have many different applications including De-humidification; Nationwide Coils, Inc. has the capabilities to provide you with the exact chilled water coil to meet your rigorous specifications. Our coil software selection programs allows us to work with our customers to me there specific needs. We are able to customize the materials of construction, set entering air conditions, adjust CFM and flow rates to meet every customers needs for there chilled water coil. This allows the perfect fit and operation of every cooling coil manufactured. 4 CHILLED WATER COILS S P E C I F I C AT I O N S HEADERS CASING Copper Cupro-Nickel Stainless Steel Copper Galvanized Steel Stainless Steel 5 CHILLED WATER COILS S P E C I F I C AT I O N S TUBES FINS Tube Materials: Fin Materials: Copper Cupro-Nickel Stainless Steel Aluminum Copper Stainless Steel Sizes: Specifications: 3/8” 1/2” 5/8” 3/8’ Tube - 10-20 fpi 1/2” Tube - 2-16 fpi 5/8“ Tube - 6-14 fpi Wall Thickness: Fin Thickness: 3/8” & 1/2” Tube - 0.016, 0.020 5/8’ - 0.020, 0.025, 0.035, 0.049 0.006 0.008 0.010 6 CONDENSER COLS Nationwide Coils offers condenser coils designed for use with all refrigerants including HFCs and HCFCs. We specialize in all aspects of design and production of your steam coil, with condensation removal being a priority. These coils are designed with one header, a tube within a tube configuration, and baffles which direct the steam through the inner tube allowing condensation to be removed out of the outer tube. Tube and connection sizes are essential parts of the design of a steam coil as they limit water hammer and the freezing of tubes, providing even steam distribution throughout the entire coil. We can supply steam distribution coils with various tube wall thicknesses that are designed for optimum performance, handling a large range of steam pressures. 16 NON-FREEZE STEAM DISTRIBUTION COILS S P E C I F I C AT I O N S HEADERS Copper Cupro-Nickel Stainless Steel Carbon Steel CASING FINS TUBES Fin Materials: Tube Materials: Aluminum Copper Copper Cupro-Nickel Stainless Steel Stainless Steel Specifications: Carbon Steel 5/8" Tube - 6-14 fpi Sizes: 1" Tube - 6-12 fpi 5/8" Fin Thickness: 1" 0.006 Wall Thickness: 0.008 5/8" - 0.020, 0.025, 0.035, 0.010 0.049 1" (.035, .049) Copper Galvanized Steel Stainless Steel Carbon Steell 17 STANDARD STEAM COILS Standard Steam Coils are designed for medium temperature applications where the entering temperature is 55 degrees or higher. Instead of using liquid to cool refrigerant, a chiller barrel uses refrigerant to cool a liquid. It is an evaporator. Refrigerant evaporates inside tubes as water flows through a baffled course on the outside of the tubes. We provide UL and ASME -listed 'Near Drop In' OEM replacement barrels, allowing our customers easier installations with minimal re-piping. We carry 5-300 nominal ton units with standard and custom construction units always available. FEATURES Special Microfin Tubes for high transfer capability and more compact chiller sizes. Available as standard in single or dual circuit 5-300 normal tons refrigeration. Working pressure - 225 PSI Tube Side, 150 PSI Shell Side. Removable heads for services. Insulation, mounting legs and lifting bracket included. Flange connections and heat tape available. Special gasket material to ensure virtually leak free operation. Certified by the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors. All vessels are designed and manufactured in accordance with Section VII of the ASME Code and are available with U or UM code symbol stamp.. 20 COIL SECTIONS Nationwide Coils is proud to offer a new and updated version of our coil section. Thermi-Coil insulated coils are suitable for refrigerant and hydronic applications and can accommodate a wide range of airflows. They address the needs of building professionals with rigorous indoor air quality standards, coupled with easy maintenance for sustainability. All of our quality coil products are available to be installed inside our rugged coil section. SPECIFICATIONS Casing isolates condensation from the airstream for better indoor air quality. Insulation is not exposed to airstream to discourage mold growth. Dual sloped drain pan for drainage of condensate and improved indoor air quality. Dual sloped drain pan for drainage of condensate and improved indoor air quality. Stainless steel drain pan and coil supports to resist rusting from condensate. Removable coil for easy maintenance. 21 HEAT EXCHANGERS Nationwide Coils supplies a range of high quality standard and custom heat exchangers to meet just about any heat transfer requirement. Our heat exchangers are devices built for efficient heat transfer from one fluid to another over a solid surface. This transfer of heat can either take the form of absorption or dissipation. Heat exchangers provide efficient heating and or cooling functions for a variety of industrial and commercial applications.
