Parents as Career Coaches North Delta is pleased to invite you to a new series of workshops designed for parents of high school students. Parents as Career Coaches (PACC) is an engaging and invigorating career clarification program for parents with children in grades 9 through 11. PACC is delivered through a “hands on” interactive workshop format over two separate evening sessions with “exploration homework” involving parents and children occurring between sessions. Through the workshops, parents are guided through exercises that: explore values placed on/communicated about jobs, occupations, careers update current labour market dynamics and future employment trends highlight the impact of parents and their role in the career journey Parents as Career Coaches is delivered through sponsorship from Kwantlen Polytechnic University in partnership with the Delta School District. Enrollment for this event is capped at 30. The event is for parents only. Parents as Career Coaches will take place at North Delta Secondary School Library on Wed. April 1, 2015 and Wed.
