Important Guidelines for Second Chance and Test Alteration

SECOND CHANCE ADVANTAGE
a) Second chance will be considered for Eligibility as well as scholarship / Financial Aid/ EDB / Fee benefit.
b) No Fee for second chance and applicant may apply after the result of the first chance (result one day after
conduct of exam).
c) The Scholarship benefit applicable to candidate will be of the phase in which applicant applies for Second
chance through the interface available on the website.

OTHER IMPORTANT POINTS RELATED TO SECOND CHANCE:
a) Applicant may apply for second chance after the conduct of first attempt only.
b) For Second chance applicant will not have option to select the slot for exam. Exam slot in second chance will
be allotted by University only.
c) Result of eligibility i.e. whether applicant has ‘qualified LPUNEST’ or not is declared, one day after conduct of
exam along with obtained marks. So applicant can decide about applying for second chance after knowing
the marks obtained in first attempt (i.e. one day after the conduct of exam).
d) However the result of scholarship / financial aid will be declared on 10th June for Phase I (similarly 10th July
for Phase – II and 4th August for Phase – III). So if an applicant decides to apply for second chance after
looking at the result of Scholarship / Financial Aid then on the basis of second chance he get chance to avail
scholarship as per the currently operational Phase only.
e) In case an applicant is appearing for the exam on last days of a phase then most probably he will be able to
apply for second chance only in subsequent Phase.
3.0
TEST ALTERATION
Request for change in date or test centre for LPUNEST- 2015 may be considered only after submitting
application through University website www.lpu.in with the processing fee of Rs 200/IMP: In case applicant submit the request for change of date after the date of test then also the same is
processed after asking the reason for absence in writing. This clause is not mentioned anywhere in the
prospectus or website.
