NURSING Nevada State Board of BOARD MEETING AGENDA May 20-22, 2015 Tuscany Suites 255 East Flamingo Road Las Vegas, NV 89169 The Board meeting will commence at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 20, 2015, continuing at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, May 21, and Friday, May 22, 2015 until all Board business is completed. Items on the agenda may be taken out of order. The Board may combine two or more agenda items for consideration. The Board may remove an item from the agenda or delay discussion relating to an item on the agenda at any time. The mission of the Nevada State Board of Nursing is to protect the public's health, safety and welfare through effective regulation of nursing. Public Comment Procedure: 1. Public Comment will be taken at the beginning and at the end of every day of the Board meeting; 2. Public Comment may also be taken at other such times as requested so long as the request that Public Comment be taken will not interrupt ongoing Board business; 3. Those individuals wishing to present concerns to the Board are to sign in prior to speaking; 4. Depending on the number of individuals wishing to address the Board, a reasonable time, place and manner limitation on the public comments may be set. The Board will not restrict comments based upon viewpoint; 5. No action may be taken upon a matter raised during Public Comment until the matter itself has been specifically included on an agenda as an item upon which action may be taken.
