Pre-Season Practice – Perfecting the Attack WHAT PARENTS CAN EXPECT FROM THE COACHING STAFF • To love and care for your son as if he were our own • To be a positive role model for your son • To provide motivation for your son to develop strong work habits • To continually encourage your son to do the “right thing” at all times • To promote an atmosphere of caring and respect WHAT THE COACHING STAFF EXPECTS FROM PARENTS • • • • Show support for your son with positive encouragement Displaying positive enthusiasm for the TEAM, not just your son Demonstration of and the promotion of good sportsmanship Expressing concerns in private and at an appropriate time with Coach Barnes or any other coaches in the program – Immediately after a game is not the right time or place FINAL THOUGHT • “I don’t care about winning or losing, I care about how you play, with passion, desire, heart, intensity, determination…We don’t look at the scoreboard.
