Revelstoke Aquatic Centre, 600 Campbell Ave
Facilities:
The Revelstoke Aquatic Centre is an indoor 25 metre pool with 6 lanes. Spectator
seating is limited. We are pleased to offer our large indoor air-conditioned multi
purpose room for athletes to keep cool between races.

Healthy food and drinks will be available for early risers and throughout the day.
Tents are allowed outside the pool, between the road and the river, however most
swimmers rest between events inside the multi-purpose room.
ENTRY DEADLINE: TUESDAY, June 2, 2015 @ 8:00 PM
No deck entries
A flat fee of $30 per swimmer will be charged, excluding turtles (FREE). There will
be no refunds for scratched swimmers. Payment is expected in full to the meet
manager (Ross Hoshizaki) by noon Sunday.

* All Turtles must be registered with their home club
* No charge for Turtle only swimmers entered in max four 25m events. The regular
entry fee will apply for turtles entered in any Div 1 events.

Hy-tek file will be emailed to your swim club and posted on the BCSSA website by
mid-April.

Relays:
Relay entries must be submitted on proper entry forms to the clerk of the course
prior to 10am each day.
Family Relay:
This year special honors will go to the fastest “Family Free Relay.” Relay can be
mixed families, ie. two families, but have a maximum of two parents. Please enter
by 10am Saturday for a $5.00 fee. Family relays will run after medley relays on
Saturday. (Event not used in points calculations.) Join in the fun!
Scratches:
By 8:00 PM Friday at the pool for Saturday events. No refund for scratches.
Rules:
* All BCSSA rules apply or as the Meet Manager deems fit and fair
* Hytek Meet Manager software will be used to ‘crash’ times
* Swimmers may enter any 7 individual events plus relays
* Races will be seeded by time within each category on the schedule
* Ocat 1 and Ocat 2 swimmers will be swimming with their peers in each event
* Best times should be submitted, but only times the swimmer has actually
achieved in competition. If no time is available submit ‘no time’ (NT). Heats will
be seeded according to times submitted.
* No switching of events once a swimmers is entered
* Seeding is done by the Hy-Tek MM and a minimum of changes to seeding will be
done at the discretion of the Clerk of the Course for efficiency
Awards:
* Division 1-4: Ribbons will be awarded to top 12 swimmers
* Division 5-8 and all relays: Ribbons will be awarded to top 6 swimmers
* Aggregate medals will be awarded for top 3 girls and boys in each division
* A maximum of 7 events will count towards aggregate points for Div. 1-4 and 8
events for Div 5-8. 200m Free and 400m Free will NOT count toward scoring for
aggregates.
* Team awards will be Top Girls team, Top Boys team and Top Overall team
* Record breaker awards will be given
* Point Scores: 14-12-11-10-9-8-7-5-4-3-2-1 for individual events. Double points
will be awarded for Relays.
Calling of Events * The meet will follow the BCSSA policy regarding marshaling calls. The Clerk will
announce the marshaling of the event two (2) times with two (2) minutes
between each announcement.
* All swimmers from Division 1- 6 must go to the Clerk of the course table, to check
in. Division 7-8 need only check in once at the beginning of each day.
Officials:
As for all swim meets, we rely on the active volunteerism of all parents. Please do
your part! An officials meeting will be held during warm-ups each morning, and
new officials are more than welcome to attend. Clubs will be assigned lanes to
time throughout the meet.

Camping is available at the Centennial Ball Fields alongside the Columbia River.
This is located directly west about one block from the pool. Camping fee is $15 per
night (cash or cheque made out to Revelstoke Aquaducks). The deadline for
reservations is May 30, 2015. Space is limited so registration is a must!
