Note: Participating colleges must provide their own medical kits with tape, wraps etc. The ATC’s on sight will not be supplying those items for each team. Spectators: Spectators may view the competition from designated viewing areas only. At no time shall spectators be allowed to enter any portion of the playing surface areas. Parking: Format: Rules: Ventura College: Complimentary parking at: Lot S and Lot SW All singles matches shall be the best two (2)‐out‐of‐three (3) sets. Doubles shall be 2 out of 3 with a 10 point tie break in lieu of a 3rd set. New balls shall be provided for the third set in singles but not for the tie breaker in doubles. There shall be a maximum five (5) minute break between the second and third sets. All State tennis competition will follow the CCCAA Tennis Championship Handbook. ITA rules apply to all tennis situations not covered in this publication. Time Between Matches 1. Participants are allowed 30 minutes between matches. 2. Participants are allowed one (1) hour between the end of singles and the start of their first doubles match. Conduct The point penalty system shall be enforced at all times. Officials: The Tournament Director shall provide an official for any match at the request of a coach, as long as an official is available.
