Petrotranz Data Exchange Petrotranz Data Exchange (PDX) – Overview The Petrotranz Data Exchange (PDX) is a secure, web-based data exchange system that makes information available in an electronic format between all relevant stakeholders (Facilities, Shippers, and Producers). Information, current and historical, can be electronically consumed by internal management systems via XML web-services or made available in a viewable/printable PDF format. PDX leverages the existing Petrotranz Technology Platform which provides existing portals (Facility Operator, Shipper and Producer), Industry databases, role-based security, business rules, workflow, document management, and an integration layer for system-to-system exchange. Internal and external management systems can be integrated for electronic feed. ● Reduces Data Entry Risk Information can be electronically transferred from system to system thereby reducing the risks associated with data entry. ● Industry Standards & Web Services The Energy Industry can utilize the published industry schemas for information flow. This includes capabilities to utilize authenticated Web Services to transact and distribute information. ● Maintains Historical Workflow PDX maintains a record of each event as it occurs. This provides historical records for complete audit capability and security.
