Snookball is a bizarre new game which is a
crossbreed of billiards and football; where the billiard
balls are replaced by footballs and the cues, by pairs
of shoes. However strange it seems, it is becoming
popular and offers an unusual addition to a

In our onward quest for new event technology, we
were excited to ‘have a go’ with Loopd at the Meet
the Future event on 9 June at Central Hall
Westminster. Loopd is the latest wearable technology
for events, enhancing audience interaction. There are

Carousel
A recently-opened Scandinavian design-inspired,
flexible three-storey venue, in Marylebone, which
offers three event spaces, including a professional

The Department Store
A warehouse space opened in January and located
in a former print works building on the capital's

Sunbeam Studios
A Grade II-listed building in north Kensington which
dates back to 1903 and where the Sunbeam car was

HAC
An old favourite of Powwow, the HAC, home of the
Honourable Artillery Company, is a Georgian house
set in a five-acre garden, in the heart of the City of
London. It has recently upgraded its Prince Consort
Rooms with LED lighting and a PA system, including
digital speakers. Space to hire: The Prince Consort
Rooms offer a flexible canvas for up to 400 guests
for a dinner, or larger numbers for an informal
