SE4ALL TERM Description Tonga’s Energy Sector Targets and Objectives – What are they and how to get there? Tonga’s current measure of progress towards the energy sector targets and objective, including its latest Energy Balance. Issues and challenges in measuring energy sector performance Presentation looks at the the challenges in the PICTs with access to timely data and information, Provides a background to the developments into the interest behind the PRDR SE4ALL initiative with commitments made such as the Pacific Leaders signed declarations and Selection of Interim Host. An update to where we are and the 12 months plan for interim period!! 1130 – 1145 Institutional arrangement of the PRDR SPC SE4ALL 1145 - 1200 Priority Data targeted for the PRDR 1200-1230 Open Discussion 1230 - 1400 Lunch Presentations look at the establishment of the national coordinating office and focal point of the PRDR SE4ALL. This will involve public consultation with data providers and in establishing an applicable approach to access data. Presentation looks at the 4 classes of data targeted ( Utility, Petroleum & transport data, RE project data, Economic & demographic data) SPC End of Day 1 Day 2 TIME 0900 – 0930 PRESENTER / Description FACILITATOR Overview of the FAESP Energy SPC TOPICS Indicator compilation work in 2009 with the compilation updated for 2010, 2011 & 2012. 0930-1000 PRDR Portal presentation 1000-1030 Open Discussion 1030 - 1100 Morning tea SPC Presentation will cover the work currently being undertaken by the interim host in constructing the PRDR SE4ALL portal showcasing the features and functionalities of the portal. Open discussion is to gather views and suggestions from the stakeholders on the layout of the portal and how user friendly the portal is. This will also encompass areas of assistance from the PRDR SE4ALL host to the national government where possible in the housing of back data and information.
