YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Bayer Business Services is the global competence center for IT and business services of the
Bayer Group and supports the business processes of Bayer with high-quality services and
innovative solutions – anywhere and anytime. The range of services focuses on the core
areas of IT Infrastructure and Applications, Procurement & Trade Services, Personnel
Services, Finance and Accounting, and Management Consulting. The Communications
Manager Finance & Accounting within Corporate Communications of BBS is responsible for
the design and implementation of communication activities and measures according the
communications strategy:
• Provide comprehensive strategic communication consultancy for Finance & Accounting and
respective stakeholders within the Bayer Group
• Design and implement comprehensive communication concepts and plans
• Manage overarching topic management with business-driven content
• Coordinate realization of all required communication activities and measures (print, online,
live communication, PR and media relations)
• Develop and steer cross-unit communication projects
WHO YOU ARE
• University degree in a communication discipline or similar qualification
• Perennial years of working experience in an international communication department or in a
communication related environment (e.g. communications or PR agency, media or
journalism)
• Excellent editorial skills, strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Comprehensive experience in community management
• Distinctive communication and presentation skills, good level of professionalism in use of
broad range of communication tools and techniques
• Thorough understanding of Finance & Acounting
• Leadership experience and strong leadership approach
