Hey Parker Woods Parents! Saturday, May 9th is a very special day for Parker Woods Montessori; we welcome new families during our open house, and celebrate another successful year at the End of Year Festival. Please join us for these special events; bring friends, families and neighbor to make this day, a great community event. All events open to the public.
Open House is Saturday from 10 – noon showcasing Montessori approach to learning as well as our wonderful teachers, classrooms and Montessori activities.
At 11:30, children who participated in the Flying Pig program will be doing one final lap to celebrate your marathon accomplishments. Anyone who did not already receive a medal will do so on Saturday.
The End of Year Festival starts at 11:30 with fun, games, bouncy houses, skate board lessons*, raffles, silent auctions and FREE FOOD. That’s where you come in! The PTO is providing free hamburgers, hot dogs and veggie burgers with buns and all the fixins – we’re looking for parents and families to participate in a potluck, so we can have appetizers, sides and desserts!

Happen, Inc and WordPlay will have tables set up for free activities. Make mom / grandmother or whoever special in your life a Mother’s Day card and other creative stuff!!!! Great stuff has been donated for silent auction and raffle baskets. To name a few: Family Movie Night, Restaurants Around Town, Date Night, Spa Day, Family Fun and neighborhood baskets: Northside, College Hill and Clifton.
