With the organization of this 'Nuclear Career Day' students and
young professionals will be introduced to the different nuclear
career opportunities that exist in Belgium and at the IAEA.
Morning program | 9.30 – 11.30 h
 Advanced academic opportunities to support a nuclear career,
such as
- BNEN program in nuclear engineering
- Radiation Protection Expert course
- Medical Physics programs
 Existing career pathways at IAEA and other Belgian employers
 Testimonials of students and young professionals working in
different branches in nuclear.
Walking lunch | 11.30 – 13.00 h
Interact with representatives of participating companies,
institutions and networks.
Afternoon program | 13.00 – 17.00 h
Technical visits to various nuclear facilities (in industry, medical and
research) are scheduled. Shuttle buses will be foreseen.
Evening event | from 19.00 h
Network with the colleagues of the BNS-YG (Belgian Nuclear
Society - Young Generation) in Brussels.
