ALUMINIUM COMPOSITE PANELS
General Properties
Aluminium Composite Panels are aesthetic, sleek looking, smooth,
modern building materials used in the design of architectural structures as
delimiters of our social life.
Components
Aluminium Composite Panels, are composed of two aluminium sheets
with a standard wall thickness of 0.5mm and polyethylene (Idpe) between
these two sheets. In line with demand in order to provide different solutions,
the manufacturing of composite panels differing between 3mm and 6 mm is
possible in our production facilities.

Rigidity of Aluminium Composite Panel
Aluminium Composite Panel, which is a material with polyethylene
(Idpe) between two aluminium sheets of standard thickness 0.5mm,
is a material with the same rigidity as aluminium sheets on average
40% heavier than itself.

Lower Construction Resistance
When lower construction calculation is carried out, the following must be taken into consideration;
-should not exceed the maximum allowable stress,
-maximum deflection must not be greater than L/200.
Accordingly;
Stress;
S > R L2 / (8 Stres0.2)
Deflection;
5 R L4 / 384 E M < (L/200).

Connection Point Stress
Stress occurs due to various forces at the connection points with the connection of 2 Composite
Panels with bolts, screws. This stress should be at elastic limit.
The stress at the connection point;
Is calculated with the formula Maximum tensile strength = Elastic Stress x Eurametal / Metalbond
Composite Panel thickness x hole diameter.

ALUMINIUM COMPOSITE PANELS
Cutting
Cutting can be done by saw or jigsaw or chainsaw.
.
Gouging
For a 90-degree corner, notching with a 110 degree notching blade is recommended. While notching,
care must be taken in the core 0.2 ~ 0.4 mm outer part.
Drilling
This process should be done with a twist drill.
Drilling
This process is carried out with a jigsaw, carving saw or router.
Sawing
This process can be done by guillotine.
Drilling
This operation can be carried out with a punching machine.
Bending
This operation can be carried out by brake pressure device and folding table.
The minimum bending radius of 40 mm for 3 mm and 4mm, 50mm for parallel,
for single 6mm radius of 55mm, 80mm for parallel
Bonding
This process can be done by metal adhesive.
Riveting
This process can be done with rivets.
Screwing
This process can be done by metal screws.
Welding
This process can be done by hot air welding.
Clamping
This process can be done with corner joint profiles.

ALUMINIUM COMPOSITE PANELS
There are three important issues to consider when purchasing composite panels.
1-Sheet thickness
2-The thickness of the aluminium portion of the sheet -3- Paint quality PVDF or POLYESTER
Note: PVDF paint is guaranteed for 20 years against UV rays and natural conditions.
Note: POLYESTER painted products are 10 years guaranteed.
