Catholic Community Services - Winter Shelter – 3 SCREENING LOCATIONS

Coordinates a winter shelter program for men and women at local churches in Kent and Federal Way. Area congregations host
the shelter on a rotating monthly basis. Provides case management services tailored to individual clients' needs in areas such as
housing, veterans' services, Department of Corrections and court system involvement, and basic budgeting. HOME program hosts
weekly on-site mental health services provided by Sound Mental Health. Program offers three meals per day, and clients sleep on
mats on the floor. Program does not include any religious components. Facilities do not provide laundry or showers.

Hours: Walk in for intake: Daily, 9pm-7am.
Provides 30 winter shelter beds for women operated by WHEEL; no closing time has been determined yet, though location may
change. Walk in. Women are required to arrive no earlier than opening time.

OPEN - Congregations for the Homeless - Eastside Men's Shelter

Hours: Intake occurs at 8:30pm daily.
Provides seasonal shelter for up to 50 men (18+) in the fall and winter. Shelter is open every night, with no connection to weather
forecast. Provides dinner and breakfast as well as sleeping mats and blankets. Not daytime storage services are provided. Walk in
for intake which occurs daily at 8:30pm. Clients are admitted until the shelter closes at 7:30am. Closes April 30, 2015.

Hours: Walk in, M W F, noon-3pm. Shelter: Su-Th, 9pm-8am. Severe Weather Shelter: nightly, 9pm-8am.
Offers overnight winter shelter with 15 beds five nights a week; serves young adults both men and women, ages 18 and older.
Shelter is open seven nights a week when temperature drops below freezing. Shelter closes April 17, 2015.

Hours: Intake: daily, 8:30pm. Shelter: daily, 7pm-6am.
Provides 50-100 seasonal shelter beds for men in the fall and winter. Shelter is open every night through April 15, with no
connection to weather forecast. No meal, hygiene or daytime storage services are provided. Shelter is operated by staff from the
Salvation Army - William Booth Center. Shelter open to any man, ages 18 and older, in need of shelter. Must not exhibit behavior
dangerous to self or others. Individuals on the shelter's admonish list may not be served. Line up in the park next to 4th Avenue,
just south of the courthouse and Jefferson Street. Access to the shelter takes place through the loading dock on Jefferson St., just
up from 4th Avenue.

OPEN - Mary's Place

Operates a 50-bed winter shelter for single and two-parent families.
Families can stay at the shelter for the duration of the time the shelter is scheduled to be in operation - through early May 2015.
Call Mary's Place Day Center on weekdays for phone screening and to confirm openings. Intake is done at the day center. Best
time to call is at 9am. Families at the day center will receive priority for spaces that open up during the day. After 3pm or on
weekends, call the after hours intake for phone screening and to confirm openings.

Hours: Walk in Daily, 7:30pm-6:30am. Lights at 9:30pm but men can be admitted throughout the night at the church's discretion.
Operates a winter shelter for adults in rotating Lake City churches. The shelter will house approximately 30 guests per night.
Shelter is a sober facility. Trained staff members and volunteers will be operating the shelter each nigh building relationships
with guests to encourage entry into Detox and Rehab programs, enabling permanent residency through housing assistance, and
promoting positive life behaviors. Clients would have access to the mission's legal and dental services. Meals will be provided by
the host church. Guests at the shelter must vacate the neighborhood during the day, but limited bus tickets will be available.
