CC Sponsor Letter-2015 - Young Life Ross County

The Chillicothe Challenge is coming back to Chillicothe! The event proceeds
will benefit a local non-profit organization known as Young Life Ross County. The
parent organization, Young Life, is a faith based international program that
started in 1941 and has a proven track record of changing lives of young people.
Young Life Ross County will support students in meaningful events and
mentoring relationships that deter students from negative behaviors: drug
addiction, teenage pregnancy, gang activities, wandering career pursuits, and
criminal activities. The organization provides a means for parents and other
adults in leadership roles to be involved in creating activities in which parents feel
their children are safe and protected.
Young Life Ross County is working with the Visitors Bureau of Chillicothe to
again organize this event. The hope will be not only to raise funds for Young Life
but also to increase local awareness of our downtown, it’s businesses, and it's
history. The Chillicothe Challenge will be held on Saturday May 30, 2015 and
will be a mix of scavenger hunt, riddle/puzzle solving, and amazing race task
completion type activities throughout downtown, the west side, and Story Place.
It is something unique to other events that have been held in Chillicothe. Last
year we had a very positive response from individuals and the downtown
businesses that participated on a sunny Spring morning in May.
Right now we are looking for businesses or individuals who would like to be a
sponsor of this event and receive recognition on event shirts, signage, and even
an entire challenge station. Donations are tax deductible as Young Life is a
501(c)(3) organization. Checks should be made out to Young Life.
Our goal is to raise money for a great cause, raise awareness of our downtown’s
history and businesses, and to raise the roof with a fun family/friend team event.

________ field goal kick at CHS football field)

Gold~ Associate Sponsor: $250
Sponsorship descends in size and order from previous level and offers an
outstanding mid-level value
- Listed as a sponsor on the website
- Company or individual name+logo on event t-shirts
- Promotional Materials in the race packet
- You may provide One sign at the event
Silver~ $100 or in-kind donation
Sponsorship descends in size and order from previous level and offers excellent
lower level promotional exposure.
