Week 1 June 29 – July 2
Remote Control Mania
Ages 5 and up
Making it move is the name of the game! Kidz will love to see their creations in
motion using LEGO® wireless remote controls. They will learn how to magnify,
diminish and redirect force to move objects at different speeds and directions.
Mining and crafting
Ages 5 and up
Minecraft is a game about placing blocks to build anything you can imagine.
Experience the world of Minecraft with LEGO® bricks. Students will face new
challenges each day, building models and crafting key elements from the Minecraft
game.
July 13 - 17
GAMe week. Ages 5 and up.
Kidz will fight crime with the Teenage
Brick Turtles, Build classic arcade
characters, try to catch all the
Monsters and build and destroy your
own level of an app with bricks! Craft
key items from the Mines.
Week 3
Week 5 July 27 – 31
Amusement Park Ages 5
up
Grab a ticket to ride all our very own
amusement park rides, which campers
will build anew each day. On the final
day, we create a giant amusement
park for the custom-made minifigures, including games, ticket
booths and more.
GAMe week Ages 5 and up.
Kidz will Fight crime with the
Teenage Brick Turtles, Build
classic arcade characters, Try to
catch all the Monsters, Build and
destroy your own level of an app
with bricks, and Craft key items
from the Mines.
Week 2 July 6- 10
Stop Motion Animation Ages 6 and up
Lights, cameras, LEGO® action! Use LEGO® bricks to
tell YOUR story, complete with music, special effects
and all your favorite LEGO® mini-figure characters.
Students will plan, script, stage, shoot and produce
their own mini-movie using LEGO® components to build
the set and props, then shoot their movie using a
camera. Movie will be posted on YouTube!
Week 4 July 20 - 24
Mindstorm Robotics Ages 9 up
SUMMER TAKE HOME!
Each child will take home a customized
mini -figure and customized small vehicle.
The hottest selling LEGO® kit, Mindstorm
combines classic building with the world of
robotics using motors, sensors, and
programming software. You will learn how to
design and program your bots so they can
complete various challenges.
Jr. Robotics
Ages 5 up
How would you like to turn your next LEGO®
creation into a robot, programmed to do
exactly what you tell it to do? This camp
introduces the basics of robotics using LEGO®
models and simple drag and drop programming.
Week 6 August 3 - 7
Get Frozen Ages 5 up
Children will be brick building, engineering with
LEGO® pieces and exciting take home crafts.
Participants will make a motorized horse and
sleigh like Sven, Special Snowflakes and even
Special Characters like Anna, Else and Olaf.

August 10 - 14
Space Adventures Ages 5 up
Week 7
Our space camp is packed full of models that will
make your imagination blast off! Each day campers
will learn about real-life space exploration and
build related models. You will also build your own
space ship.
Pick-a-brick machine challenge
Ages 5 up
Children will have a selection of various machines
to choose to build. Then there will be a challenge
for the children to complete based on the machine
they built.
Make it a full day of summer fun!
Bricks 4 Kidz Summer Experiences meet Monday through Friday each week
(except Week #1 – Mon – Thur) from 12:30-3:30pm. PLEASE REGISTER EARLY. NO Refunds!
Register by completing form below. Class sizes are limited and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Make it a full day summer
experience by combining RVC Rec. Center Summer Playground with Bricks 4 Kidz, with staff chaperoning between activities for $20 per week, $30 for
Summer Nursery participants (please send lunch). If attending Hewitt or Wilson sites, parent must provide transportation between programs.
