THE CONFERENCE
The Australian & New Zealand Search and Rescue
Conference will be held on the 6 May 2015 at Jupiters Gold
Coast. The conference brings together leading search and
rescue practitioners to discuss challenges of preparing,
deploying and operating search and rescue.
The aim of the conference is to facilitate sharing, knowledge
and experience between the different search and rescue
agencies, enterprises, communities and professionals.
Presentations will cover air, sea, land-based, urban,
wilderness, domestic and overseas search and rescue.
The conference theme, Preparing – Deploying – Operating
Search and Rescue will focus on better integration for more
effective search and rescue operations. The program will
reflect just how much the search and rescue world has
evolved, tackling issues ranging from the latest requirements
for airborne search and rescue assets through to the latest in
innovative life-saving training and techniques.
This conference is dedicated to advancing the discussions
and knowledge on search and rescue and moving the
community a step closer to an effective, integrated, search
and rescue capability.

The Australian & New Zealand Search and Rescue
Conference will be following the Australian & New Zealand
Disaster and Emergency Management Conference
(ANZDMC) on the Gold Coast from the 3 - 5 May 2015. The
two important events are delighted to come together to give
the industry the most significant four day event on the 2015
calendar.
ANZDMC will feature multi-agency presentations covering
all phases of emergency and disaster management –
prevention, preparedness, response and recovery. There
will be representation by fire, ambulance, emergency,
rescue, volunteer, defence and health sectors.

EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION
A discount is available for registrations received and paid before 30 March 2015. Registrations not paid by that date will be reinvoiced at the standard rate.
CONCESSION REGISTRATION
Concession registration is available for full time students and unwaged persons. A discount will be applied to the full registration
only (not including the presenter and day rate).
PAYMENT CONDITIONS
Once registration is received a confirmation email and tax invoice will be issued. All accounts must be paid in full 30 days from the
invoice date or 10 business days before the conference start date, whichever comes first (unless applying for the early bird rate).
The organisers reserve right, without notification, to cancel outstanding accounts any time after 30 days from date of tax invoice
being sent. All registrations received after 20 April 2015 must be paid in full by credit card only.
If payment is not received prior to the conference, access will be granted only after full payment is made via credit card only.

CANCELLATIONS & AMENDMENTS
The Conference Committee understands that circumstances can change. At any point prior to the event you are welcome to
contact us in writing to nominate a substitute delegate at no extra charge. All cancellation and refund must be received in writing
to the Conference Secretariat.
A full refund less a $150 service fee will be issued for cancellations received on or before 19 March 2015. Registration
cancellation received between 20 March 2015 and 2 April 2015 will receive a 50% refund on the registration fees. No refunds will
be issued after the 3 April 2015. Non-payment does not constitute cancellation.

AST Management and the Conference Secretariat will not share your details and will send conference messages only via email.

It is strongly recommended that delegates have travel insurance to cover medical and travel expenses. The conference does not
