5TH CIRCLE LEVEL CONFERENCE OF WOMEN OFFICERS
SBI OFFICERS’ ASSOCIATION (HYDERABAD CIRCLE)
8th March is celebrated as International Women’s day all over the world. It is a global day celebrating
the economic, political and social achievements of women. It is an occasion for looking back on past
struggles and accomplishments, more importantly for looking ahead to the untapped potential and
opportunities that await future generations of women.
The principle of gender equality has always been basic to thinking of SBIOA (HC). It is one
organisation which firmly believes that equal participation of women officers is vital to the growth and
progress of the officers movement, especially in the wake of increase in the number of women officers
getting recruited/promoted year after year. Our objective, therefore, is to initiate and accelerate action
to improve control of resources by women, so that they can take their rightful place in the mainstream
of Association activities.
In this direction, the Circle Association has been conducting exclusive Women Officers Conference
every year to acknowledge the contribution of women officers in strengthening the Association and
also to provide a platform to them to unite, network and mobilize for a meaningful change.
Continuing the tradition, we propose to conduct the 5th Conference of Women Officers on the
29th March, 2015 (Sunday) at Hyderabad. This shall provide an opportunity and a vibrant forum for
the women officers in our Circle to come together to support each other’s goals and dreams and also
to deliberate at length on various issues confronted by them during their day to day functioning in the
Bank.
We request all the women officers in the Circle to participate in the Conference in large number, fully
utilize the forum for meaningful deliberations and make the Conference a grand success.
