To learn more about working on campus, please go to www.careers.humber.ca or visit the Academic & Career Success Centre (North Campus), Learning Resource Commons, First Floor, or the Lakeshore Career Centre in Room H-201. Check out the postings from external employers on the Career Services job portal. Be sure to drop-in our Centre for help with your resume. 3. Look at last year’s postings – if they hired last year, they’ll most likely hire this year 4. Check with friends, family, teachers, peers, grads 5. Get your Resume in perfect shape 6. Look at the part-time job postings – these employers often hire for summer 7. Think strategically – which companies do the most business in summer? Garden Centres, Resorts, Golf clubs, Yacht clubs, Amusement Parks, Tourist attractions 8. Highlight your subject line in your email or letter by indicating ‘summer employment’ 9. Visit the recruitment booths on campus, these employers have great opportunities 10. Take a job where you’ll have fun this summer!
