Master Promissory Agreement to Pay for Costs of Attendance at Burman University Effective dates: From Date of Signing and Onward (No expiry date!) The purpose of the Master Promissory Agreement to Pay is to remind the student of the contractual agreement to pay for services provided by Burman University. The student is solely responsible for being aware of the financial requirements regarding attendance at Burman University and ensuring the student account is up-to-date and accurate. Student account details can be viewed 24/7 online through the Student Portal. Current Charges and Payments: Select My Ledger and the term. Current Scholarship and Student Loan status: Select My Financial Aid and the term. The following are some important facts to know: 1. All university services cost money; and 2. the student is legally responsible for paying all the costs incurred at Burman University whenever a cost is incurred; and 3. the payments for the costs must be made by the deadlines established by Burman University; and 4. if the payments are not received by the deadlines, then: 5. a. the student’s course registration may be cancelled at any time during the term, and b. the ability to register and attend for subsequent terms denied, and c. the arrangements for on-campus living accommodations terminated, and d. any unpaid balance charged compound interest of 1% per month (12.68% per annum), and subject to the institutional collections policy which may involve the disclosure and exchange of personal information with credit bureaus; and no transcripts or diplomas released by Burman University until the student account, including an applicable rent account, is paid in full.
