My Family!
Paul is my husband - we have been married 24 years.
Paul is originally from the Bronx, NY, in an area called Woodlawn
He is a HUGE Yankees Fan.
He retired from the Army after 20 years of service
He currently works for Ryder Distribution

My Kids!
First came Steph.....
Steph
was born while we were stationed at Fort Bragg, NC. After various
different homes along the Army Brat route, she ended up graduating here in IA.
Steph found college FUN, but then lost her way.....so we offered her the
opportunity to go on a voyage of discovery!
She took us up on it.
She spent one year in New Zealand, now is in Australia, “Living the Dream”!

Then it was Ben.......
Ben was born in the US Army Hospital
in Wurzburg, Germany.
Ben also graduated here in Iowa,
from Dike-New Hartford, just like his
sister.
Ben is a member of the US Navy,
currently at ‘nuke school’ studying
how to run nuclear reactors. He is
stationed in Charleston, SC.
The biological kids left...
The dogs are still here!
Cafe Latte (Latte)
......a Jack Russell Terrier who was
born the night of Hurricane Isabel in
2003. Latte is my baby....although
she technically belongs to Ben.
Yuffie
......a Deer Head Chihuahua, who
was a stray and we think is around 4
years old. Yuffie is Steph’s dog, but
since Steph is in Australia.....

I was born in Lyon, France.
Mum and I moved to England when my
parents divorced. My brothers stayed in
France.
We lived in a small village called
Puddington, near Chester and Liverpool.
My first degree was in Architectural Design
from the University of Liverpool.
I left the UK for the US in 1989 to be a
nanny in D.C.
I met Paul... and then the Army took over
our lives.
Next came: Ft. Bragg, NC....Germany...Ft.
Eustis,VA...Ft. Bragg (again)...finally,
Iowa!
Now it is time to achieve my lifelong goal
of becoming a teacher.

The Last Few Months....
● We put our acreage on
the market in June. It
sold in 72 hours. Have
you any idea how much
STUFF you can store in a
barn and tractor shed?

● I am currently in the
Year-Long Student
Teaching Pilot...and
loving every minute of it!

Coming Next .....
After I finish student teaching next spring we
are planning to move out-of-state.....we have
no idea where...life’s an adventure!
