ABOUT:
Habitat for Humanity of Schenectady County, Inc. (HFHSC) has completed
the rehabilitation of a three-bedroom, two story home for the Tapia family! At
the completion of construction or rehabilitation of each Habitat house, HFHSC
celebrates the moment of handing over the keys of a new home to an excited
family at a Home Dedication Ceremony. The ceremony is a moving event as
we come together to celebrate the hard work and determination of a partner
family who is realizing the dream of homeownership.
The Home Dedication Ceremony also gives HFHSC a chance to thank the
many people from our community who come together to help make the
construction or rehabilitation of each home a success. Donors, volunteers,
board members, committee members, staff and our local elected officials all
work together to help carry out the mission of HFHSC.
