Submissions must be received by May 2nd, 2015 and should be clearly labeled with student’s name, teacher’s name, school name,
address, and telephone number.
Official Contest Rules: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. All entries (as described above) must be mailed to the address below and
received by May 2nd, 2015, and will be judged by Scholastic Canada Ltd. “Sponsor”. Winners will be posted at www.scholastic.ca/
clubs/contests by May 8th, 2015. All entries, including rights therein of winning entries, become the property of the Sponsor and
will not be returned. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, stolen, misdirected, damaged, mutilated, postage due, incomplete
or illegible entries or mail. Contest is open to legal residents of Canada teaching grades K-6. Five (5) winners will be selected from
grades K-2 and five (5) from grades 3-6 for a total of ten (10) winners. Employees of Sponsor and members of their families living in
the same household and their immediate family members are not able to enter. This contest is not open to residents of Quebec. Void
where prohibited by law. One entry per person. By entering entrants agree to abide by these rules and grant Sponsor the right to edit,
publish, promote and otherwise use their entries without further notice or compensation. All entrants, as a condition of entry, agree
to release Sponsor and its parent, subsidiaries, brokers, distributors, dealers, retailers, affiliates, and their respective advertising,
promotion and production agencies, (collectively, the “related entities”), from any liability for injuries or damages of any kind sustained
through participation in this contest or use of a prize once accepted. Approximate retail value of prize is $175.
No cash substitutions, transfers of assignments or prizes allowed, except by Sponsor in case of unavailability or scheduling difficulty,
in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. All matters relating to this Contest shall be subject to Sponsor’s sole
discretion and Sponsor’s decisions shall be final and binding on all. The winners may be required to sign and return an affidavit of
eligibility and liability/publicity release within five (5) days of any notification attempt or an alternate winner may be selected.
By accepting the prize the winner grants Sponsor the right to use information and entry for purposes of advertising and promotion
without further notice or compensation, except where prohibited by law. Taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize
