Drawing Contest
Challenge: Read any story of your
choice to your students. Ask them to
pay attention to the pictures they see in
their heads as they listen. Then ask them
to create a picture inspired by the story.
Students may use
crayons, pencils,
markers, or any
kind of paint.

11” x 14” and must include the
title of the book that the drawing is based on, student’s name,
teacher’s name, and school
address and phone number.

All students who are U.S. residents and currently attending a U.S. school in grades PreK–1 are eligible to enter except
employees and immediate family members of Scholastic Book Clubs or its parent company. Winners will be selected
based on creativity, originality, and execution. All submissions become the property of Scholastic Inc. Ten (10)
Winners will be chosen (approximate retail value: $185.00). Winners will be notified on or about May 14, 2015. For
