With an attendance of 12,000+, 24 groups qualified for the Scholastic
World Class. Of those 24, only 15 advanced to Finals competition after 2
days of Preliminary and Semi-Finals competitions. Petal advanced to finals and placed 10th in the Scholastic World Class with a score of 87.525
out of 100 pts. 13 different countries were represented. Petal is now a 4time Scholastic World Class Finalist. Petal High School is the only Scholastic World Class group from Mississippi.
