Walk-a-Thon Update
Thank you for your cooperation and support of the walk-a-thon! To date we have raised over
$20,000!! To celebrate, there will be NO homework tonight and everyone may dress down this
Monday, April 27th! Please refer to page 15 of our Family Handbook for dress down day guidelines:
On dress down days, comfortable, casual, appropriate dress down clothes are allowed. This
includes jeans, capris, appropriate tee-shirts with sleeves, sneakers, and boots. The only
shorts that are permissible to wear on dress down days are the Annunciation gym uniform
shorts. In addition, the following are not allowed: skirts or dresses more than one inch above
the knee, spaghetti straps, halter tops, tank tops, one-shoulder tops, strapless tops, flip flops,
leggings, or jeggings, and any other item deemed inappropriate by administration.

Dear Parents,
Annunciation School’s Drama Club, under the direction of Ms. Stoutenburg, Mrs. Brosnahan and
Sr. Theresa, will be presenting Annie Jr. on Friday May 1st at 7:00pm and Saturday, May 2nd at
7:00pm. Tickets will be sold for each performance on a first come, first served basis, and there
will be assigned seating. Please note that all ticket sales will be by written request through the
school office, and no tickets will be sold at the door at either performance.
If you would like to purchase tickets, please complete the tear off below and include your
payment (check payable to Annunciation School) for $10.00 per ticket. Place in an envelope
marked “Annie Jr. tickets.” Each person attending the show must have his/her own, numbered
ticket including children age 2 and up.

You can purchase gift cards and earn money for our school!
The Annunciation Home School Association is once again selling gift cards to Stew Leonard’s. Stock up
now for all your Mother’s Day, Communion, and Confirmation purchases! For each gift
card you purchase, Annunciation School receives up to 10% of the total we purchase as a group, and you get
the full value of the gift card. It really is as easy as that!
If you wish to order one or more gift cards, please complete the bottom portion of this flyer and return it to
school with a check payable to Annunciation Home School Association, in an envelope marked “Stew
Leonard’s Gift Cards.” All gift card orders MUST be returned by Friday, May 1 st . The cards
can be sent home in your child’s homework folder or will be available for pick up at school on
Wednesday, May 6 th .
Please call Suzie Marley at 914-337-0337 for gift cards, to arrange a delivery if you are unable to pick up your gift
cards, or if you have any questions.
If you shop at Stew’s, please consider buying gift cards. It doesn’t cost you anything extra, and the money
really helps our school. Last year, this program made over $2000. Thank you to all the families who
