This includes an additional 10 awards to be given at large to students within the 62 counties represented in the Area Go Texan Scholarship Program. Apply at: http://www.texasffa.org/page.aspx?ID=76 SCHOOL ART 15 four-year, $18,000 college scholarships - Eligibility: To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, an applicant must meet criteria of citizenship, character, residence, academic standing, college/university enrollment plans, and economic need, in addition to special eligibility requirements based on the applicant's participation in the School Art Program. High school seniors from participating public high schools whose artwork was judged by School Art Committee judges in a participating school district show or those high school seniors from participating public high schools who are selected to compete in the Quick Draw competition are eligible to receive Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo School Art Program Scholarship applications. Obtain application from FCCLA advisory RUTH HILDEBRAND One four-year, $18,000 scholarship - Eligibility: Applicants must be Junior Market Lamb Show exhibitors participating in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo; applicants must be citizens of the United States, of good character and meet all requirements as specified in the application, including their attending a Texas public high school, meeting academic and standardized test score minimums; applicants must plan to attend a college or university within the state of Texas; applicants are evaluated on the basis of academics, leadership/community involvement and financial need. Applicant must also meet criteria of citizenship, residence, academic standing, college/university enrollment plans, demonstration of leadership, character and economic need. Eligible applicants must live in the eight surrounding Houston Metropolitan counties or the 62 participating Area Go Texan counties.
