INTENDED AUDIENCE
This program is designed for the professional nurse
who desires to update/validate their knowledge
base in the care of the trauma patient. Both the
advanced level nurse and the beginning practitioner
will benefit from the information presented at this
educational activity. Content areas are selected from
the continuum of care for the trauma victim, rather
than focusing exclusively on a particular area of
nursing care. This selection of topics provides the
participant with a broad view of aspects of trauma
care and treatment.
Content hours provided for this program can assist
the nurse to meet yearly trauma education
requirements in the care of the pediatric, adult and
geriatric trauma victim.
