Conditions of Participation Global Business & Market Events
Validity
Following conditions of participation are valid for participants who register online for one or more of the Global Business & Markets events.
Registration
To attend one or more of the Global Business & Market events online registration is required. To ensure that the ticket can be received in time,
the deadline to register in advance is 2 days prior of the event you would like to attend. After that only on-site registration on the event day will be
possible, if places are still available.
Participation
Participation in the Global Business & Markets event/s is free of charge to HANNOVER MESSE ticket holders. On receipt of registration you will
be sent an e-mail confirmation of participation.
Trade fair entrance
ticket
In addition, participants who register will be sent a HANNOVER MESSE e-ticket for admission to the exhibition grounds. Please note that the
trade fair entrance ticket entitles you to entry to the trade fair grounds once only per day. On leaving the trade fair grounds the ticket loses its
validity.
Cancellation of
participation
In the event of cancellation we kindly ask you to inform us by e-mail to [email protected].
Data privacy policy
Processing and storage of data: The personal data you supply during registration will be processed and stored by Deutsche Messe for the
purposes of planning the events on behalf of the organizer/s. In addition, Deutsche Messe would like to use your details for the purpose of
informing you about future stagings of the given event or thematically related ones.
Revocation of consent: The participant can revoke the right to utilize his or her data at any time by sending an appropriate message to
[email protected] and to the event organizer you have registered for (contacts see below)
Performance of
services and
reservation of right of
rescission
The organizer/s reserves the right to make changes to the content and timing of elements of the forum program and to make changes to the
speaker line-up. The organizer also reserves the right to cancel individual parts of the forum program if it becomes apparent that it is not viable to
run those parts owing to insufficient participant numbers. The cancellation of parts of the forum by the organizer will not give the participant any
right to rescind the contract.
The organizer further reserves the right to rescind the entire contract if, overall, the number of confirmed participants is too low for the forum to
offer sufficient content and be commercially viable, or if running the forum becomes impossible owing to other circumstances that fall outside the
organizer’s sphere of responsibility. In such cases, the organizer will notify the participant without delay and refund without delay any payments
the participant has already made. In such cases, the participant will have no further rights or claims unless the organizer has caused the
participant loss intentionally or by gross negligence.
