Kendra Scott to Open on the Country Club Plaza
Leading jewelry brand coming to Kansas City late summer 2015

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (May 8, 2015) – Popular jewelry retailer Kendra Scott will open on the
Country Club Plaza later this summer at 412 Nichols Road with 1,455 square feet of retail
space. This will be Kendra Scott’s first Kansas City location.
“We are looking forward to bringing one of the most widely recognized fashion accessory names
in the country to the Plaza and Kansas City,” said Glenn Stephenson, Highwoods Properties
vice president and division manager. “We know Plaza-goers will enjoy this fresh, cutting-edge
brand.”
Kendra Scott broke new ground in the accessories market when she introduced the Color
Bar™, a unique, interactive experience that allows shoppers to create customized jewelry in
minutes. The new store will showcase this coveted feature, which includes a touch screen
display monitor, iPads and a kaleidoscope of gemstones and jewelry silhouettes in up to four
metal settings.
The shelves will boast a distinctive collection of seasonal and signature jewelry in an array of
rich hues. Specifically, the Kendra Scott “Via Maya” Collection will take center stage and
introduce local shoppers to the distinctive style of Kendra Scott.
