SUMMER INTERNSHIP
As it is well known, information and communication is a key factor in any successful international company.
And this must include as well our distribution channel, which is the final and key contact with our customers.
As a result of a recent “route to market” improvement, Hiab would like to start a new project, mapping down
all our processes related to our communication with our dealers and importers, as well as the way that the
information flows, including competence sharing and market transparency, between manufacturer and
distribution channels. The scope of the mapping process shall be our central function, our national sales
companies and our distribution channel.
To take forward this challenging project within our organization, we would like to count with 2 new people,
outsiders to the organization, not influenced by the current way of working, that would be able to map down
our current processes in communication, information and competence sharing (top-down and bottom-up),
both internal and with our partners, to analyze and improve them, with freedom to propose new ones.
To achieve the objective, the candidates will be supported with an introduction program (first weeks upon
start), in order to better know the people, and understand the current processes in place within the company.
The candidates will have the chance as well to interview key people within the Central function, national
sales companies, as well as current dealers and importers.
QUALIFICATIONS
 A Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and/or Management is required.
 Candidate should have knowledge on processes and information flows.
 For this project, excellent social skills are required.
 Fluency in English is a must. Any other European language will be a strong plus.
 Availability for European travel is a must.
 Ability to work independently.

 Timing: possibility to start in June and continue to September. Possible opportunity to continue in
Hiab after internship
 Location: Hiab office in Malmö or Stockholm is preferred, option to work from home part time
