Back to School
Bash a success
Deaconess Carolyn Ford
along with Pastor, Bishop
Bernard Taylor, and First
Lady Cynthia Taylor would
like to thank the volunteers
and the nearly 200 people
that took part in their “Back
to School Bash Program” at
God’s Glory Ministries in
Wildwood on Aug. 22. The
4th Annual Back to School
Fest — Project Excel was a
huge success in distributing
over 200 drawstring book
bags, paper, pencils, hand
sanitizer, glue and other
school supplies to students
in the community.
Entertainment included
bounce houses, face
painters, clowns and door
prizes in the form of WalMart gift cards. Words of
encouragement were sent to
the group by Mayor Ed
Wolfe, Commissioner
Pamela-Harrison Bivins of
Wildwood, and Dwight
Howard of the Orlando
Magic. In attendance at the
event: Cindy Brooker from
Cindy Brooker Chevrolet; Lt.
Valentino from the
Wildwood Police Dept.; Mr.
“Hamp” Hampton, principal
at Wildwood Middle/Senior
High School and Mr. Presley,
asst. principal at the school.
