Danish Genealogical Word List
Danish Genealogical Word List This list is taken from the FamilySearch Wiki article called Danish Word List in October of 2010. It is a revised edition of the Family History Library’s Genealogical Word List for Denmark that is now out of print. The revisions were done by native Danes who removed some terms from the old word list that were not as relevant to Danish research. They also added many terms including many occupations. As this word list will continue to grow, see the current Danish Word List on the FamilySearch Wiki for the latest edition. aa see å aaben aandsvag aar open mentally deficient year aar gammel, år = aar gl. year old aaret aarlig aarsag aarti a (ab) (Latin) A.D.
