Standing ovation! Summer sun shines on a new Daisy winner Our NICU helps the tiniest of our patients but the impact they have is sizable. They help these babies grow stronger and stronger because of dedicated staff like this month’s Daisy Award winner – Cody Greenwood (pictured far right). Here’s what one mother had to say about him: “[Cody] was attentive not only to my baby but anyone I brought in. If they had any questions, he answered them. He and a few other nurses took their time to teach my boyfriend how to feed, change diapers, burp and sooth my daughter. He was my nurse only three times but he has had a great impact on me, my daughter, my family and friends.” 1 june 2013 In the spotlight: Volunteers Making a ‘World of Difference’ Cook Children’s volunteers were the guests of honor at this spring’s internationally-themed Volunteer Appreciation Dinner and were treated like visiting dignitaries during the evening’s festivities.
