This year we'll gather to celebrate 45 wonder-filled, one-of-a-kind years at Innsbrook, surrounded by family, friends, and friends who might as well be family at Charrette Creek Commons on May 28 from 2 to 5 p.m. Though the location has changed, all the things you've always loved about the gathering have not. The IBK Anniversary Party is a must-attend event for property owners and their families. You'll reunite with old friends and neighbors, as well as make new acquaintances that may just become friends for life! A new location means new items to note for a party of this size: Party Parking — In a wooded development such as ours, parking is always a special consideration. Here are a few tips to help the day run smoothly. Registration — May 18 at 3 p.m. was the official cut-off time to register for the Memorial Day Anniversary Party so that we could provide a number to the caterer. However, you and your families are still welcome to attend the party and we will do our best to accommodate everyone. Please proceed to the registration table upon arrival as you have done in the past. • Please carpool. • GOLF CART parking will be allowed in designated parking areas at Charrette Creek Commons. You will be allowed to enter Arlberg Pass. Please follow the signs. • Vehicle parking will be available at parking fields on Farmhouse Drive and along Arlberg Pass. • Properties located on the west side of Innsbrook, north of the Farmhouse — please enter via West Innsbrook Circle Drive and park in the designated parking fields on Farmhouse Dr. • Properties located on the east side of Innsbrook (east of Highway F) and far west side of Innsbrook, including lakes Alpine, Kitzbuhl, Linden and Grendel — please enter via Meadow Valley Drive and park in the designated parking fields. Shuttles will run from 1:30 to 5 p.m. Snacks — Snacks available at the party will include all-beef hot dogs, chocolate chip cookies, kettle chips, popcorn and refreshing sliced watermelon. We'll have water and lemonade available, but you're welcome to bring coolers of whatever beverages and treats you enjoy. Margaritas will also be available for purchase (cash and lot charges accepted for margaritas). • Vehicles will not be permitted beyond the designated parking areas on the day of the event. • Handicap parking will be available at Charrette Creek Commons — please have your handicap tag plainly displayed as you approach the party and Security will direct you to the designated parking area. If you are able to do so, please ride the provided shuttles to the party. Tents — If the weather allows, personal pop-up tents will be allowed in a designated area at the party. Tents, blankets and chairs may be dropped off at Charrette Creek Commons on Saturday, May 28 between 10 a.m. and noon. Please note that the swimming pool will be closed during this time, with an official opening on Saturday, May 28 at 11 a.m. nature note COUNTRY MARKET OPENS FRIDAY, MAY 27 PLEASE DON'T FEED THE DEER These are property owner-run clubs and events. If you have club news you’d like to share, call ext. 9180 or email [email protected]. The Missouri Department of Conservation strongly encourages all people in Warren County to avoid using deer attractants in order to help stop the spread of chronic wasting disease in the deer population. The use of attractants leads to a high concentration of deer in a small area, thus making it easy to spread disease from one deer to another or from the environment to the deer. Deer are browsing animals, eating the leaves, twigs and fruits of trees and shrubs, and the foliage of herbaceous plants. They also take seeds, fungi, mosses, lichens, succulent grasses, farm crops and sometimes small amounts of animal food like snails and fish. As you can see, they already have plenty to choose from at Innsbrook! The Country Market will open on Friday, May 27. See hours for the season on the back page. Ext. 9333. POOL OPENS ON SATURDAY, MAY 28 See back page for hours. Ext. 9180. REMINDERS FOR THE BUSY SEASON Please mind the speed limits: There has been an increase in the frequency of complaints we receive about speeding. Our windy, twisty roads and frequent hills make it imperative for everyone operating a motor vehicle or recreational vehicle to adhere to the 23 mph speed limit on paved roads and 17½ mph speed limit on gravel roads. Horse/rider safety: For the safety of horses and their riders, we ask that operators of cars, recreational vehicles and bicycles keep the following in mind: Please slow down if you come across people on horseback, either from their front or rear, and drive slowly as you pass them. Do not allow your dogs to bark furiously as you pass those on horses. Do not honk your horn. Thank you! 2016 PONY CAMP IS This year's Pony Camp, taking place each Sunday, May 29 through June 26 at the stables, is now SOLD OUT. Please discontinue mailing in registration forms and checks. Thank you! Ext. 9300.
