It’s coming soon – TelComm’s 70th Annual Membership Meeting. Be

location. As part of our long-standing tradition, we will present
special awards to staff and committee members, present this year’s
college scholarship recipients, announce the recipient of our annual
Volunteer of the Year Award, elect officials and hand out lots of
gifts to lucky members in our drawings throughout the evening.
PLUS – we will have 2 Special Guests that evening – Kirby Kangaroo
and Ted Keller, Chief Meteorologist with KOLR 10 / KSFX 27! Please
make sure to bring your children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews
for a fun night!
Our raffle item at the Annual Meeting will be a
$300.00 VISA gift card (donated by TelComm) and
ALL FUNDS raised in the drawing will be donated
to Ted Keller’s charity of choice, the American

Overdraft Privilege
Changes Coming Soon
TelComm Credit Union understands sometimes unforeseen expenses
occur when you might not have enough money in your account to
cover those unexpected costs which is why we offer the Overdraft
Privilege Service to our members.
However, because of a new banking regulation, we will not be able
to authorize and pay overdrafts for your everyday debit card and
checking transactions as of August 15, 2010, unless you ask us to
do so.
We are in the process of creating an ‘opt-in’ process for members to
request ODP and are fine tuning the details now. Please keep reading
your TelComm Quarterly and staying tuned to TelCommCU.com for
more information over the next couple months.

“Golfing for Kids” has become an annual
area Credit Union event to benefit the Ozarks
Children’s Miracle Network, an international
non-profit organization that generates funds
to assist sick and injured children who need
medical care. The Springfield Area Credit
Unions have raised over $425,000 over 13
years for CMN through various fundraising
efforts including the golf tournament,
telethon, cookouts, and icon sales.
Rivercut Golf Course will play host to the
event with it’s 7,000-yard, par-72 nationally
recognized championship course. Make

for TelComm Credit Union

folks in Lawrence county. We held an open house at our
Republic branch to get acquainted and sent out a postcard
introducing ourselves to Lawrence County.
