Act Now For 100% New Home Financing
For a limited time TelComm is able to offer 100%
new home purchase financing. This is rare in the
current economic climate so time really is of the
essence. In addition to that, you may be able to
qualify for an $8,000 tax credit – or 10% of the
home’s value, whichever is less – on your 2008 or
2009 taxes. For more detailed information about
the federal housing tax credit, please go to
http://www.federalhousingtaxcredit.com/2009/faq.php.
The tax credit is for first-time home buyers only.
For the tax credit program, the IRS defines a firsttime home buyer as someone who has not owned
a principal residence during the three-year period prior to the purchase. The tax credit does not have to
be repaid. The tax credit is equal to 10% of the home’s purchase price up to a maximum of $8,000 and
is available on homes purchased on or after Jan. 1, 2009 and before Dec. 1, 2009. Single taxpayers with
incomes up to $75,000 and married couples with incomes up to $150,000 qualify for the full tax credit.
For additional information please go to www.federalhousingtaxcredit.com
To capitalize on the 100% financing and determine if you qualify for the potential tax credit, please
contact Tara New or Lindy Evans at the Sunshine location by emailing [email protected] or
[email protected] or calling 417.886.5355.

Beginning July 1, 2009 all TelComm VISA Credit Cardholders will receive a combined mailing
of your VISA Credit Card statement followed by a payment envelope and then your monthly/
quarterly TelComm Credit Union Share Statement. This translates into just one mailing from
TelComm and a significant amount of savings for your credit union in postage and paper costs.
Plus, we will also be able to duplex the statements which will allow us to print on both the front
and back of each piece of paper, ultimately saving numerous trees! So when you receive your
envelope you will see in this order:
1) VISA Credit Card Statement (if you have a TelComm VISA Credit Card)
2) VISA Payment Envelope (if you have a TelComm VISA Credit Card)
3) TelComm Credit Union share statement (monthly if you have regular activity, quarterly if you
do not)
We recognize this is a break in the routine you may be used to, but believe it is a positive change all the way around – cost savings and
environmentally friendly. We appreciate your patience and cooperation.

if you can save money when you: grocery shop (i.e., use coupons,
consider generic food brands rather than name brand and remember try not to grocery shop when you are really hungry as it makes it more
difficult to pass up many food items that you would otherwise do
without), and review your “recreational” expenses by itemizing what
you spend in your budget to dine out - or if you think you must see
that new movie that is coming out, etc., just to name a few budgetary
areas to consider.
Remember, in tough economic times such as

payback as far as it will go it’s more important
than ever to develop and maintain good financial
