(ECUs), electrical provisions, power management systems, and Gichner specializes in the design, engineering, manufacturing, integration, other support equipment modification, testing, and repair of both lightweight aluminum shelters • Available life cycle support including refurbishment, reset, and repair of damaged units and high payload steel containers. Gichner’s lightweight electronic equipment shelters are designed to meet the rigid demands of high mobility applications, and the steel container systems provide capacity for high payload requirements. Gichner’s modular electronic shelter systems can be configured for a wide range of applications including data storage facilities, • Optional shock/ vibration isolation • Convention for Safe Containers (CSC) certified for global commercial freight transportation by land, air, or sea • Units may be built to standard 20’ and 40’ shipping container requirements for freight transportation and handling (ISO 668, communications shelters, radar/repeater stations, operations centers, power generation enclosures, and uninterrupted power supply units. ISO 1496/1, ISO 1161, ISO 3874) • Optional integration to meet 50dB (STC-50) sound attenuation • Optional design and construction to meet secure facility requirements (T-SCIF and TEMPEST) • Optional manufacturing to meet High-Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse (HEMP) requirements • Available custom configuration and system integration A Tradition of Quality Electronic Equipment Shelter & Containerized Systems Since 1969, Gichner has been a provider of modular electronic shelter systems configured as data storage facilities, communications centers, radar/repeater stations, and ground control equipment and operations command stations. Gichner’s rapidly deployable electronic equipment enclosures are offered with high levels of equipment integration, EMI shielding, power distribution, environmental controls, and various security features. Gichner can custom design individual shelters or leverage from an expansive array of in-house designs to provide a quick response to containerized system needs. Lightweight Electronic Equipment Shelters Lightweight electronic equipment shelters are rigid wall units designed for high mobility applications. The shelters are constructed with lightweight aluminum skins bonded with closed cell core insulation and are manufactured with a steel ISO skeletal structure, end bands, and base frame. Custom configurations are available.
