Modern, computer-aided technology facilitates
the competitive production of the storage
equipment. Dimensions and interior fittings are

General quality characteristics of the HAHN
Storage Cabinet
Die Gehäuse werden aus 1,2 mm dickem
Stahlblech gefertigt, tragende Elemente wie,
Decken, Böden und Türrahmenteile bestehen
aus 2 mm Stahlblech. Die Türrahmen sind aus
Gründen der Stabilität verschweißt. Der obere
Abschluss ist wasserdicht. Der untere
Rücksprung als Fußleiste ist 60 mm hoch und
enthält eine Höhennivellierung von der Frontseite
aus, so dass der luftdichte Schrankboden nicht
durchbrochen wird.
The outer casing is manufactured from 1.2 mm
sheet steel whereas 2 mm sheet steel is used for
the load bearing parts, tops, base boards and
door frame components. The door frames are
fusion welded and the tops are watertight. The
cases have a recessed toe space of 60 mm with
provision for levelling the back corners of the
case from the front without penetrating the
airtight envelope.
Die Türen sind doppelwandig mittels
durchgehenden Scharnierbands mit den
Seitenwänden verbunden, was zur Erhöhung der
Stabilität und präzisen Abdichtung führt. Der
Öffnungswinkel beträgt 270°, so dass sie sich
flach gegen die Front benachbarter Schränke
oder deren Seitenwand anlegen, und so nicht
den Durchgang behindern. Jede Tür hat einen
versenkt liegenden Drehgriff und einen Einschub
für Beschriftungsschilder. Der Verschluss erfolgt
durch bündig eingebaute
Sicherheitszylinderschlösser. Die Türdichtungen
bestehen aus mechanisch befestigten, chemisch
neutralen Silikonprofilen.
Von außen nicht sichtbare Lüftungsöffnungen
sind in jeder Tür vorhanden, die mit AktivkohleFiltern versehen, oder auch verschlossen werden
können. Alle Oberflächen erhalten eine chemisch
neutrale Epoxy-Pulverbeschichtung (zahlreiche
Farben nach Musterkarte). Alle Kanten sind vor
der Beschichtung sorgfältig entgratet.
Die Schubladen sind aus 1 mm Stahlblech, mit
seitlicher Abdeckung der kugelgelagerten
Führungsschienen. Die Schubladenvorderseite
besitzt eingeformte Griffe und Etikettenhalter. Die
seitlichen Führungsschienen lassen sich in
Abständen von 25 mm ohne Spezialwerkzeuge
in der Höhe verstellen. Die Tablare bestehen aus
1,2 mm Stahlblech mit einer Abkantung vorn und
Aufkantung hinten als Rückhalt für die Objekte.
Die gesamte Innenausstattung ist jederzeit
veränderbar.
The doors are double panelled and hinged
continuously to the sidewalls for extra rigidity and
precise insulation. The opening angle is 270°
allowing the doors to lie flat against either the
sidewall of the cabinet or the front of the adjacent
case. At no time an opened door will obstruct the
thoroughfare. Each door has a fully recessed
handle and label holder. The cabinets are locked
by a connected central security system. The door
seals are and mechanically attached and made
from chemical neutral, non-reactive silicon. Filter
vents are installed on the inside of each door.
These vents can be adapted for filtering air
through activated charcoal as well as for
complete closure. All surfaces have a nonreactive, solvent free powder coating, available in
various colors (see color chart for selection) All
edges are deburred prior to finishing.
Drawers are fabricated from 1 mm sheet steel
with sides framed to cover the bearing surface of
the case-mounted drawer glides. The drawer
front has a recessed handle and label holder.
Each drawer is supported by two case-mounted
glides that are vertically adjustable in 25 mm
increments without the use of special tools.
The complete interior fitting is fully changeable at
any time.

HAHN Hängedepot-Anlagen
HAHN Depot Sliding Panels
Hängedepot-Anlagen sind geeignet zur
hängenden Lagerung von ungerahmten oder
gerahmten Gemälden, Graphiken, Textilien und
anderen flachen oder kleinen Objekten. Sie sind
als Längsfahranlagen ausgebildet, damit z.B.
Gemälde auch bei unsachgemäßer Handhabung
nicht in Schaukelbewegung geraten. Unser
Angebot umfasst zwei Standard-Ausführungen:
HAHN Depot Sliding Panels are designed for the
vertical storage of un-framed and framed
paintings, prints and textiles and other flat or
small objects. They are equipped with track
systems which are designed in such a way that
the hanging panels will not develop swinging
movements, even if the equipment is handled
incorrectly. We offer two standard systems:
Einseitige Ausführung
Hierbei steht eine Hälfte des Lagerraums als
Depot zur Verfügung, die andere Hälfte wird für
den Auszug (Gangbereich) benötigt.
Single-Sided System
Here half the space is available for the storage
installation whereas the rest will be needed for
the pull-out section.
Zweiseitige Ausführung
2/3 des Lagerraumes werden als Depot genutzt,
lediglich ein Drittel wird für den Auszug
(Gangbereich) benötigt.
Double-Sided System
Here 2/3 of the space available can be used for
the storage installation whereas only 1/3 will be
needed for the pull-out section.
Die Anlagen bestehen aus einer zerlegbaren,
stabilen, selbsttragenden Stahlrohrkonstruktion
mit Bodenbefestigung. Das Auszugteil der
einseitigen Ausführung kann zusätzlich an der
Decke oder Wand befestigt werden, wenn die
baulichen Voraussetzungen dafür gegeben sind.
Usually these installations are de-mountable,
rigid, self supporting tubular steel construction
fixed at floor level. With the one-sided system the
pull-out section may also be fixed to the wall or
ceiling, if the available space permits this.
Die Auszüge bestehen aus einem
verwindungssteifen Stahlrohrrahmen mit
beidseitigem Gitter, damit sich gegenüber
liegend aufgehängte Objekte nicht behindern.
Die Maschenweite der Gitter beträgt 100 x 100
mm. Die Auszüge sind an der Ober- und
Unterseite in Spezialschienen kugelgelagert und
werden erschütterungsfrei geführt. Jeder Auszug
ist mit einem Zugriff und Etikettenhalter
ausgestattet. Zusätzlich können die Auszüge auf
Wunsch mit Frontblende, Rahmen für
Inventarliste oder Einzelverschluss versehen
werden. Eine vollständige Umkleidung als Schutz
gegen Licht, Staub und Diebstahl ist möglich.
Alle Teile sind chemisch neutral
pulverbeschichtet. Die Abmessungen der
Auszüge werden den örtlichen Gegebenheiten,
Objektgrößen, Rahmenhöhen der Bilder usw.
angepasst.
Somit wird jede HAHN-Depot-Anlage ihren
Wünschen entsprechend „nach Maß“ gefertigt.

Each pull-out section is made out of a rigid
tubular steel frame with a double-panelled grid to
avoid any obstruction of one object by another
when used on both sides for storage. The grid
has a grating that measures 100 x 100 mm. The
panels run, top and bottom, on special, ball
bearing tracks to ensure smooth and vibration
free movement. Each individual pull-out panel is
equipped with a handle and label holder. Upon
request each panel can be provided with a holder
for content lists, front cover plate and individual
lock. Finally, a sheathing to protect against light,
dust and theft is possible.
All parts are coated with a chemically neutral
paint finish applied electro statically and baked.
The dimensions of the pull-out section are made
according to individual specification for storage
space, size of objects, height of frames etc.

System is produced to meet the unique needs of
your storage space to maximize its utility.
