example for the cultural tourism industry
Taroko National Park, located in east Taiwan, is a worldrenowned land of majestic beauty and marble-walled gorge
scenery. The Taroko Gorge is composed mainly metamorphic
rocks, such as marble, gneiss, "schist",etc. The name, Taroko,
means the "magnificent and splendid" in the language of Truku,
the aboriginal tribe who resides in the area.
KAVALAN is the earliest clan that inhabited the Lan-Yan
plain. It represents sincerity, honesty, and the spirit of step-bystep cultivation, which is just like the faith that the KAVALAN
whisky presents to everybody.
