prisons and public spaces around town
their stage.
All presentations are free to the
public, as the project intends to show
culture to people in creative ways, as well
as to generate significant moments of
meditation about the true values of life.
For the children and teenagers at
CAF their visit was extremely special,
because beyond the stimulating artistic
work, it contribuited to demonstrate the
importance of each child and teenager
to God, as well as for our families and
community.
On july 13th, CAF received a visit
from Extreme Impact. Extreme Impact is
a project of Liberty Baptist Church that
incorporates many artistic expressions,
including, drama hip hop, street dance,
capoeira, music, fire eating, skateboarding,

Volunteers from the company
RCN Metallurgy Industries
promote a special activity at CAF
On July 31st, volunteers from RCN
Metallurgy Industries had a morning
of playing games and distributing gifts.
The group mobilized the company and
developed a sponsorship campaign that
raised 100 pairs of tennis shoes for the
children and teenagers from CAF.
It was a great campaign! The company
separated an area where they put trees
with information about the children, such
as name, age, gender and shoe size. In
that tree the green fruit represented the
children that still needed sponsorship. As
the children were getting more sponsors,
the fruit would become yellow and finally
red (ripe), when the sponsor finally
decided to make the donation of the pair
of tennis shoes.
On the day they delivered the gifts,
there was a lot of food. The volunteers
themselves prepared hot dogs, played
games and had group activities, which was
a lot of fun.
CAF would like to thank all the
sponsors and volunteers from RCN that
promoted moments of lots of joy and
integration with this beautiful gesture!

Family Vacations
- PAF visits
Catavento
Cultural
Taking advantage of the vacation
season, the Project focused on families
with children between 6 and 15 years
old. They got to explore a new place, and
add one more cultural center to their
repertoir.
From the entrance area to the session
space, everything was useful. The children
had fun with the airplane and on the
other means of transportations that were
displayed on the patio. The mothers loved
learning peculiarities about Astronomy.
Many of them even got to touch a falling
star that came from outer space.
The main goal of this tour was to allow
the participants a time of leisure, aiming
for better family relationships.
Looking foward to promote a
moment of cultural contemplation, the
representatives from the Family Action
Project - living in community - Ponte Rasa
in a partnership with the Ludicinadade
Program, visited the Catavento Cultural
museum along with their children, on July
8th.

Workshop go
shopping
They got to visit some handcraft stores
located in downtown São Paulo, the 25 de
Março Street, and learned how to use the
money they received to shop.
This was a moment of mutual benefit,
promoting the planning for the production
of what they have learned during the
handcraft workshops.
This activity was based on one of
the main goals of the project, which is
to encourage and help the participantes
to have an independent job, aiming at
income generation.
On the August 6th, students from the
Handcrafting Workshop from the Family
Action Project - living in community, went
shopping with teacher Regina!

Families from
PAF spend an
unforgettable
day in the theme
park Magic City
During that day they got to enjoy all of
the park atractions, such as the little farm
and the amusement park. But the biggest
hit was the aquatic park. We also enjoyed
a delicious dinner!
The main goal of this tour was to
facilitate a time of leisure aimed at
better relationships with family as well
as with the community. Events like this
one are important to promote more
family integration, as well as giving the
opportunity for the families to have a new
place for leisure in their repertoir.
Aiming to promote a time of leisure,
the participants of the Family Action - living
in community project Ponte Rasa, along
with their children, went to the theme
park Magic City, on September 24th.

relationships and therefore to help
the children and adolescents have a
more healthy and humanized learning
experience.
